Working together, these two pre-filtration accessories remove leaves, debris and the most contaminated portion of rainfall, helping keep your stored water cleaner while reducing tank maintenance.

The Rainhead acts as the first line of defence by filtering out leaves, twigs and larger debris as water flows from your gutter. Its unique self-cleaning screen sheds debris with each rainfall, reducing blockages and minimising maintenance.

The First Flush Rainwater Diverter then diverts the initial flow of rainwater, which may contain dust, bird droppings, pollen and other contaminants washed from the roof and gutters. Once the diverter chamber is full, cleaner rainwater is automatically directed into your storage tank.

Helpful Tips

• For the best water quality, always install the Rainhead before the First Flush Rainwater Diverter.
• Install a Rainhead beneath every downpipe that feeds rainwater into your storage tank.
• Leave a 40–80 mm gap between the bottom of the downpipe and the Rainhead screen to allow easy cleaning and prevent debris build-up.
• Use the longest practical 110 mm diverter pipe for the First Flush system. Diverting more of the initial runoff generally results in cleaner water entering your tank.
• Ensure there is sufficient clearance beneath the flow control valve for proper drainage after rainfall.
• Test-fit all components before applying PVC weld glue.
• Lightly sand all interconnecting pipe surfaces before gluing to achieve a stronger, more secure bond.
