Every JoJo Tank comes with a 10-year guarantee on material and workmanship. Properly installed and maintained JoJo Tanks have, however, been known to last well past the 20-year mark. The superior quality of our tanks all comes down to the materials we use.
JoJo Tanks are made of base polyethylene with pigment anti-oxidants and UV-stabilisers for an extended service life. To prevent damage to stored water and other substances for human and animal consumption, we use the best food-grade, quality virgin LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) for all our products, with the exception of septic and conservancy tanks. These are made with recycled plastic in order to reduce destructive waste output.
JoJo Tanks are also BPA-free and UV-resistant to ensure maximum durability in South Africa’s harsh weather conditions.
While all of the above contributes to the long lifespan of your JoJo Tank, there are a few tips to bear in mind during the installation process. The installation and maintenance of your tank should be according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
