Important: While the pump includes its own housing, it must be installed with a protective pump cover to safeguard it against the elements and to keep your warranty valid.

Important Information

• The pump should be installed in a ventilated, undercover area to protect the unit against direct sunlight, rain and spray from any irrigation system. A JoJo pump cover is recommended for best protection.
• Read the user instructions before making adjustments — incorrect settings can impact performance.
• Recommended piping:
  • Suction: HDPE or Helical coil reinforced flexible hose (min. 40mm)
  • Discharge: HDPE or any SABS-approved piping (40mm)
• The pump must be earthed with no strain placed on the electrical cable.
• All maintenance should be carried out with the power supply disconnected.
• The pump is designed for clean water use only, i.e. water containing no solid particles. Pumping muddy water or water containing suspended solids will severely reduce the lifespan of the unit and falls outside of the factory warranty.
• Extending the cable will affect your factory warranty. Always make use of an approved extending plug adapter.
• It is recommended to drain the unit when temperatures drop below 0°C. To do so, loosen the bleed screw on the pump and disconnect the suction piping to allow the water to drain out.
• Before moving or disassembling the pump, always close the valves on both sides and fully drain the liquid from the pump and connected piping.
