The JoJo 10 Inch Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) Filter Cartridge uses premium coconut shell activated carbon to improve the taste, odour and appearance of your water. It helps reduce chlorine, unpleasant tastes and odours, and organic compounds, making it ideal for point-of-use systems and lower-volume whole-house filtration applications where improving drinking water quality is the primary goal.

Carbon cartridges are typically installed after a sediment filter. Removing sediment first helps prevent the carbon media from clogging prematurely, improving filtration performance and extending cartridge life.

• Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) cartridges are ideal for improving the taste, odour and appearance of water, but they are not designed to remove sediment or harmful bacteria. Use the appropriate sediment or Disruptor™ cartridge where required.
• Cartridge life will vary depending on your water quality, water consumption and the combination of cartridges in your filtration system.
• A noticeable reduction in water flow, or the return of chlorine taste or unpleasant odours, usually indicates that the cartridge needs to be replaced.
• Suitable for municipal, rainwater and borehole water applications, provided the water source is appropriately managed.
• Borehole water should be tested to determine the correct treatment requirements and confirm that it is safe for domestic use.
